Runway staple | How to style palazzos

How to style Palazzos with crop top

Hello everyone!

This time we are pairing runway staples, crop tops. If you have not been living in Antarctica, you would know that crop tops have officially become a rage. They first made an appearance in 1980s (when Madonna donned it for her video) and have been around since then.
It’s the perfect way to show off that you have been working out 😉 although we choose to be more discreet (ahem ahem!). Crop tops can be paired with jeans, skirt (see how I have done it here) or pants. We have paired it with pants to give a chic look.

Here’s our OOTD with Crop top and pants

I have paired wide flowy pants with A-line crop top. The combination of Navy blue with black and white is a fresh take on monochrome trend. I accessorized with oxidized jewelry to give it a contemporary and city-chic look. Black Dior clutch and slide sandals completed my look.

Radhika wore her crop top with funky black pants with attached wide belt. The colorful detailing on the top gave the outfit a distinguishing look. She accessorized her look with a hand harness. A minimalist wallet and Salvatore Ferragamo open back sandals completed her look.

Do you like to wear crop tops? How do you wear them? Let us know in comments below and don’t forget to tag us #fashionmuses if you recreate these looks.

Come On O Kimono: This or That

Hi everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I went for a stay at The Taj Mahal, Delhi over the weekend. This hotel is indeed one of the oldest and undoubtedly the finest in hospitality in the city! My hubby and I love the ultimate luxury of having the breakfast at the Club Lounge with the spectacular views of the city!
For today’s look we are back with our forte- ‘This or That’; the long awaited double post. Shruti and I tried to create a day and night look with the trendy Kimonos. These shrugs come in many styles: long, short, over-sized, with prints or fringes; each silhouette varying in terms of length and sleeve style. Kimonos add a zing to a routine outfit. You can wear this cover up over anything, even over jeans or a formal skirt – and this is what we did!

I just chose to throw one on my pair of white jeans and tanks. With a Lemon Kimono I just added a bit of color and sophistication to an otherwise simple outfit. I accessorized with browns in ankle-length boots and a classic Louis Vuitton Alma bag. And I’m ready to rock on a hot summer day. My shoulder area looks softer, and figure slimmer. I’ll take that, Thank you :P.
Shruti chose the elegant night look wearing a military green Kimono as a sophisticated cover up. She is sporting a Zara spandex tube skirt with a black top. The cover-up adds the jazz. The shaded pumps, an understated neckpiece and a Guess mini bag complete her dinner-date look.

Our first time ‘This or That’ with Biker jacket

Hello everyone!

Welcome to our first blog post. It’s been a while now since we decided to venture into this ‘bloggin’ thing. With all things in the right place, we finally launch it today. Yippee! And perfect timing – during the International Women’s Week. Like all girls, we adore fashion. Our phones and laptops are full of images of dresses, shoes, handbags and accessories. Through this blog, we would share our fashion thoughts, ideas and inspirations. We will blog about beauty favorites, OOTD, OOTN, DIY ideas, travel, fitness and a lot more. WE are super excited to share all this with you all! To know more about us and this blog, click here.

Winters are our favorite part of the year! Now that they are receding, we all are facing a daunting task of packing away our woolens, coats and jackets. Before we say final goodbye to winters, why not pair this essential winter wardrobe item, leather jacket, one last time.
Leather jacket is always in vogue, it’s stylish and classy, yet warm and comfortable to beat a cold winter evening. But it can be intimidating at times making you look tough. While we all girls love to look like we can kick b**t, a feminine look with the jacket can be a refreshing change. Wear it over a flowy dress, printed pants or lace jeggings and Voila!! A feminine effortless chic outfit is ready 🙂

Here Shruti has paired the classic black leather jacket with a Georgette top, printed pants and leather back pack bringing some freshness to the usual all black outfit. Sleek long chain and gold buckle on boots give a hint of glimmer.

Radhika is also sporting an all-black outfit. While the star of the outfit is the Burberry leather jacket; lace pants and casual t-shirt complements it perfectly to create a soft look. Ankle length, laced up booties completes the look.

Are you also a leather jacket girl? How do you like to pair it?
